FOSAT is a London-based non-profit organisation registered under the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
About FOSAT
Launched in 2025, FOSAT aims to support, sustain and preserve the Church of St Andrew Tangier, in the Kingdom of Morocco, through tax deductible gifts made through this website, as well as an annual giving and major gift program.
Based in London, FOSAT is led by four Trustees, each with a vested interest in Tangier and its rich cultural history, particularly in recognition of the role the Church of St Andrew has played in the city for over 140 years. A gift from the Sultan Hassan I to Queen Victoria in a mark of tolerance and generosity towards the Anglican community in Tangier, the Church of St Andrew stands to this day on the edge of a bustling marketplace surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens which house the church and cemetery and is open to the public six days a week.
By becoming a Friend you will not only be contributing to the restoration of the structural elements of the church, but also the future of this beautiful building, its grounds and the ethos of the Sultans gift for many generations to come.
Support. Sustain. Preserve.
